The moral dilemma of platform choice

November 23, 2024

Hello!

This week, we got our first taste of snow. It didn't really stick, but it’s a sure sign that winter is officially here.

I've been mulling over this topic for quite some time, unsure if I had anything fresh to bring to the table. As many of you long-time followers know, I'm no stranger to swapping out old tools for new ones. This week’s post is about changing platforms—not because I’m chasing the latest and greatest, but because I’m seeking something more ethical. I’m curious about your thoughts. How much should we care about the tools we use and the values of the companies behind them?

Upcoming podcast

This week I had the pleasure of joining subscribers Archie and Dragan on their podcast Zalet. We had a great conversation about design for almost two hours! Expect the episode to launch later this year.

Anything on your mind?

You can always hit reply and ask me anything. Hopefully one more newsletter before we wrap up 2024!

Take care,
Anton
